Yvette Juarez Ms. Lehmann English 1-1B December 17, 2019 The Un-school Bus Adventure And then... ahead of me was a castle inside a floating bubble do not ask me how that works, I couldn’t tell you! It looked awesome, all the kid’s eyes lit up, along with my own. I was so amazed. Right in front of me were large cotton candy trees, I know they were not really cotton candy, but they were just so fluffy and colorful. All the kids began to run towards the large bubble, something didn’t seem right I could not exactly put my finger on what was wrong but there was just an unsettling feeling within me. “Come on Ricky, what are you waiting for?” Shouted Lizzy. “I’m right behind you” I said unsurely if I should or not. “Welcome! Boys and girls, thank you for joining me at the School of Fun” a voice said. The students and I were all so confused as to where this voice was coming from “Please come in and have some breakfast, after breakfast feel free to play any games or watch any movie. You have an all exclusive pass to the best school ever!” The voice echoed over us. As we walked up to the school the doors flung open, the kids started to drool. The aroma of crispy bacon and blueberry muffins filled the air. The orange juice was freshly squeezed and the chocolate chips in the pancakes were runny. We were all in heaven, fancy waiters in their fancy suit came out of what I believe is the kitchen they were caring large silver platters. The kids all took a seat at the table and waited for the waiters to serve us. “Enjoy.” They said with a smile. “Lizzy aren’t you worried something will happen to us. Why are we here and not at our normal school?” “Relax Ricky, just enjoy the fact we aren’t in Mrs. Pane’s algebra class” After breakfast we started exploring, it was like we were on a field trip. In Classroom 204 it was filled with large television screens. Kids were already playing video games and eating salted buttery popcorn. “Lizzy something doesn’t feel right we need to get out of here.” “Go off on your own, I’m waiting for my turn on Mario Karts” I had decided to go check if the bus was still there to take me back to normal school. I was reaching for the doorknob to the large entrance doors when a lady in a red dress grabbed my wrist. “Where do you think you’re going?” “I’m going back to normal school, let go of my hand” “You’re not going anywhere Ricky you are never leaving!” “How do you know my name and why can’t I leave. I’m pretty sure this is against the law.” “Boys! Please show Ricky to our special fun room please” “We are on it ma’am you can count on us” said one of the waiters. Ricky was taken into a black room, his heart was pumping so fast he felt it was about to burst, his palms were sweaty and small tears were running down his face. He was strapped into a chair and there was a sqaure of red tape around him. “I’m sorry little boy but I have to do what she say’s or I will be in danger” “No! Please don’t hurt me. I just want to go home.” It was too late for Ricky, the waiter pulled a lever, the floor opened around Ricky and he fell right through the floor. Never to hear from Ricky again.
